About the Speaker:
Brian Boland serves as Deputy President and Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing at Billerud North America. He brings a proven track record of driving growth, innovation, and market expansion through integrated marketing, strategic planning, and product development.

Previously, Brian held multiple executive leadership roles at ND Paper, including Vice President of Strategy & Communication and Vice President of Government Affairs and Corporate Initiatives, where he led high-impact initiatives across corporate strategy, stakeholder engagement, and policy. Prior experience at Catalyst Paper includes leadership positions in specialty papers, new product development, and corporate strategy, contributing to portfolio diversification and innovation.

Earlier in his career at NewPage Corporation, Brian held progressive roles spanning strategy, mill operations, and segment marketing for catalog, magazine, and book segments, building a strong foundation in operational excellence and customer-focused solutions. Known for aligning strategy with execution, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and delivering results in complex, evolving markets. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from The College of St. Scholastica. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys cycling, hiking, paddling, fishing, and music.
