Grunder Landscaping has focused on teaching their team members work skills for years, but they recently added soft-skills workshops to their training program. They've found that a little bit of training helps their team to work more cohesively and communicate better with each other and clients. In this session, Marty will share what he teaches his team to help entrepreneurs and their teams know:

• How to coach your team to think like owners
• How to handle it when you've disappointed customers

About the Speaker:
Marty Grunder is Founder and CEO of Grunder Landscaping Co. and The Grow Group. An unusual combination of full-time landscape professional and executive coach, Marty is uniquely positioned to deliver real-world, real-time guidance for growing businesses of all types and sizes. His landscaping company has won more than 50 local and national awards in its 40+ years in business, and he himself has been named the entrepreneur of the year by both Ernst & Young and the US Small Business Administration. He was inducted into the Dayton Business Hall of Fame in 2021. In his role at The Grow Group, he travels the country motivating landscaping companies of all sizes to achieve success.
