From the earliest days of flight to the latest aviation advancements, Hartzell Propeller has been part of it all, starting with a chance meeting in 1914 between Orville Wright and Robert Hartzell led to the manufacturing of the first Hartzell airplane propeller. Fast forward to today's product line which includes propeller systems for hovercraft and wing-in-ground effect (WIG) craft. Hartzell also offers its own line of aircraft propeller controls (governors), spinners and de-ice systems. Learn more about the evolution of its products and how its most precious commodity, people, are at the core of Hartzell's mission.
About the Speaker: JJ Frigge, President Hartzell Propeller is responsible for all operating elements of the business including development and execution of Hartzell Propeller’s strategy. JJ began at Hartzell in 2011 as the company’s controller. Since then he has steadily assumed more responsibilities in leading the company. In 2013, he took responsibility for the day-to-day business team at Hartzell Propeller in addition to marketing and brand building efforts.
