Join us for our November Safety Breakfast with the Experts as Thomas Kelley, CSM, Manager of Asset Protection and EHS at Meijer Supply Chain and Manufacturing, Tipp City, Ohio presents on Emergency Action Plans and Disaster Preparedness.
In June 2022, Meijer distribution center in Tipp City was struck by a tornado. The damage from the storm affected a building in their complex, however all team members were accounted for and no injuries were reported. Hear from Thomas Kelley on how Meijer prepared their employees to respond to their severe weather plans and ensured the safety of their team members.
About the speaker: Tom has 20 years of service at Meijer with varied background in Operations Leadership, Anhydrous Ammonia refrigeration and Asset Protection/Environmental Health & Safety. His current responsibilities include training, physical security, safety, regulatory compliance, technical writing, operating plan development, PSM/RMP, Hazmat response and mitigating risk to our brand when handling all complaints and citation allegations during OSHA, EPA & DHS inspections.
