Mental Health in the Workplace
Join the safety council for an educational presentation designed to increase awareness of mental health challenges affecting today's workforce and provide practical strategies for creating healthier workplace environments. The presentation explores the impact of workplace stress, burnout, work environment factors, and financial insecurity on employee well-being. Participants learn how to recognize signs of mental health concerns, start supportive conversations, reduce stigma, and connect individuals with appropriate resources. The program also introduces Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), including the ALGEE action plan, and provides tools for supporting colleagues experiencing mental health or substance use challenges. The presentation concludes with community and treatment resources available through Beckett Springs and other national organizations.
