Heat Stress in the Workplace
This presentation will cover a general understanding of heat stress and how the new proposed OSHA standard will affect implementation in many industries and facilities. We will discuss signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and sickness, as well as the ways to prevent heat related illness.
About the Speaker:
Benjamin Arnold is an Industrial Hygiene Consultant focused on supporting clients with industrial hygiene, safety, and environmental services. He has been with Safex for approximately two years. He graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Biological Sciences and has obtained an Advanced Certificate in Industrial Hygiene through City University of New York (CUNY) SPH. He is currently in the pursuit of obtaining his Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
