ARCTOS was formed in 2019 via the merger and acquisition of six different aerospace companies from across the US. The largest of these company was Universal Technology Corporation (UTC) – a long-time, Dayton headquartered defense contractor supporting AFRL in multiple technology areas including advanced materials, additive manufacturing, propulsion, and other key research priorities for the lab. 

ARCTOS has created a new and unique technology provider of innovative, secure, digitally integrated technologies and agile mission-focused solutions enabling air and space dominance for the US. The company continues to be headquartered in Dayton, employing 120 people in the region.
