Executive Women’s Council Luncheon: Women Who Shaped Dayton History 2026

Wednesday, March 18, 2026 (11:30 AM - 1:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

In recognition of Women’s History Month in March, join the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Women’s Council for an inspiring and professionally driven program exploring the legacy of women who shaped Dayton’s business, civic, and social landscape. This event will examine the powerful role women have played in advancing opportunity, influence, and leadership throughout our region’s history.

A featured speaker from the League of Women Voters of the Greater Dayton Area will provide an engaging presentation on the suffragettes of Dayton, highlighting the courageous women who organized, advocated, and mobilized to secure voting rights and expand civic participation. Their determination laid the groundwork for generations of women leaders who continue to impact our community today.

This program connects history to the present, offering meaningful perspective for today’s professional women while honoring those who paved the way.

Immediately following the program, our host, the Dayton Art Institute has invited all attendees to join for a tour of their newest exhibit “Exploring Feminism” (estimated time of tour 20 minutes, please indicate upon registering if you’d like to stay).
