About the speakers: 

Alison Marker, President and CEO

Alison provides vision and steady leadership for Marker Construction , a full-service, women-owned, commercial construction firm with offices in Columbus and Bellefontaine. After spending 10 years in the mental health industry, she left her career as a private practice psychotherapist to join the construction firm in 2012.  A third-generation family member, Alison carries on the values and ethics that Marker has been known for throughout their 68 years of business. Alison’s education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies from Miami University, a Master of Clinical Social Work degree from The Ohio State University, MBA courses at Capital University, as well as various executive leadership courses and programs. 

Joe Codispoti, Director of Business Development 

Joe is the Director of Business Development at Marker, Inc. and is responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships, and new client acquisition. Prior to joining Marker, Inc., Joe held various roles at NiSource – Columbia Gas of Ohio. Joe also served in leadership roles, including Senior Lead Development Manager, National Accounts Manager and New Business Development Manager. Joe has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Business Law from the University of Toledo.
