In January of this year, Avelo Airlines – America's first new airline in more than a decade, began exclusive nonstop service to Orlando International Airport (MCO) from Dayton International Airport (DAY). With the start of this new route to Orlando, Avelo introduces a new era of affordable, convenient and reliable air travel from the Birthplace of Aviation.

For three decades, Travis Christ has been at the forefront of integrated marketing for companies big and small across the travel and airline landscape, transforming digital and commercial capabilities resulting in revenue-driving and brand elevating impact for some of the most admired travel brands in the world. In his current role as Head of Marketing for Avelo Airlines Travis is establishing the Avelo brand across the country using a digital-first approach to customer engagement and optimized profitability. His airline career began in college with a variety of airport roles with American Airlines.  Travis holds an MBA in International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BBA in Business Economics & Public Policy from George Washington University.
