Educational Programs & Training Associations
NMA, a not-for-profit professional education association, was founded in 1925 by famed innovator Charles F. Kettering as the National Association of Foremen. Our members represent a large variety of businesses, such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and NASA. Mr. Kettering had the foresight to realize front-line managers need to grow and develop their skills to lead in a rapidly changing workplace. Nearly 100 years later, those guiding principles maintain their relevance, as technology, the changing demographics of the workforce, and societal issues continue to impact businesses and individuals in ways that seemed unimaginable even a few years ago.
