Ashton is a nonprofit leader, pastor, and author.
After serving a bilingual church in Columbus Ohio, Ashton graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a Bachelors degree in Urban Ministry. Moving to Dayton, he later joined Historic McKinley United Methodist Church (UMC). Alongside church leaders, Dupler worked to establish the Dayton Equity Center (equitycenters.org), a nonprofit which seeks to revitalize communities, creating opportunities for all through food access, job training and education. Prior to his role as Executive Director, Dupler was responsible for curriculum design and new workforce initiatives, serving those primarily in the reentry & the resettlement communities.
Now serving a church with a large hispanic congregation in Dayton, St. Paul UMC, he leads a dedicated team of volunteers & staff to provide food, clothing, and social services for those in need. Ashton received his Masters of Divinity with honors from Methodist Theological School in Ohio. Additionally, he serves on the Leadership Development Board of the Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church and the Board of the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority, as well as the Dayton Public Schools Business Advisory Council. He lives with his wife, Kasey, and their son, Micah, in Dayton.
tif Huber holds a master’s degree from Antioch University and is a graduate of Wright State University. She began serving as Director of Help Me Grow Brighter Futures in January 2024. With more than 20 years of experience, tif has dedicated her career to expanding access to services and strengthening community systems across healthcare, law, public health, and nonprofit leadership. She is passionate about advancing equitable, high-impact strategies that build strong infrastructure, enhance data capacity, and foster meaningful cross-sector partnerships to ensure young children and families have the foundation they need to thrive.
Chuck is an associate in Taft’s Intellectual Property group in the Dayton office. His practice involves all facets of intellectual property litigation, as well as patent prosecution and trademark applications. In addition to IP litigation, Chuck handles a variety of business-oriented IP matters and has prepared IP transactions, managed IP portfolios, and counseled clients on the development of IP-centric strategies for start-ups/small businesses.
Prior to joining Taft, Chuck was an associate for a well-know regional law firm where he handled both enforcement and defense matters for all facets of IP: patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret.
Chuck earned his J.D. with a concentration in Intellectual Property, with honors, from The University of Dayton School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in biology from Xavier University. During law school, Chuck clerked at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in the Air Force Materiel Command Law Office – IP division for two years, concentrating on patent prosecution.
