Join our featured speaker, Dr. Steven Johnson, President & CEO of Sinclair College  as he discusses "On the Moving Rock We Stand: Responding to Local Workforce Needs in the Age of Change" - Sinclair’s critical role in supplying middle class jobs with skilled workers.

With almost 30,000 students studying at Sinclair annually, and as the largest undergraduate college in the region, where some 90% of its graduates remain locally to work and raise their families, Sinclair’s role in supplying middle class jobs with skilled workers is paramount.

Dr. Johnson will overview the magnitude of change at Sinclair over the years. He will describe the community and student-centric planning process leading to the current strategic priorities and provide examples of the cutting edge initiatives that are currently helping more students earn more education, with ever more minority students being successful in programs of study that are aligned with the regional economy.

Most importantly, Dr. Johnson would like to hear from business leaders during this session – what businesses leaders need from area colleges and universities to build a strong and more resilient regional economy.

About the speaker: Sinclair President Dr. Steve Johnson has served as president of Sinclair since 2003, and is the longest serving higher education president in Ohio. He has worked with his Sinclair team to realize nationally-recognized transformation in quality and other key performance indicators.
