The Premier Community Health Team is excited to present to the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce and Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council the impact of mental health on safety and productivity\, how to begin to create a culture that embraces work/life balance and ways that leaders can cultivate healthy conversations surrounding mental wellness. With 62% of Ohioans in the labor force\, workplace wellness programs can be a great solution to identify those at risk\, connect them to resources\, and support employees in stress resilience and managing chronic diseases.About the Speakers: Janella A. Straw is a Lifestyle Coach Supervisor at Premier Community Health. She earned her B.S. in Psychology and later received her Master of Public Health\, both at Liberty University. As a Lifestyle Coach\, Janella focuses on nutrition and chronic conditions. Janella is a public health professional with a passion for the holistic health and well-being of others. She leads a team of Lifestyle Coaches and promotes engaging workplace and community well-being programs.Christi Herr is a licensed physical therapist and national board-certified health and wellness coach with Premier Health Partners in Dayton\, Ohio. She believes that connection\, education\, and encouragement enable one to make better decisions towards maximizing their health and wellness. Christi holds a BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Toledo\, a MS in Physiology & Biophysics from Wright State University\, and a Health & Wellness coaching certificate from the Mayo Clinic. She has 30 years of experience as a PT and is responsible for case managing clients with chronic diseases\, acute illnesses and injuries\, and general med-surg interventions. Christi has been working as a Lifestyle Coach for 3 years providing education on biometrics and promoting best practices for optimizing health outcomes during workplace wellness and community events.
