Stephanie has been working in EHS in manufacturing for her entire career, about 23 years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati, and also has a medical background as she experience as an EMT and a Medical Assistant. She carries a COSS certification (Certified Occupational Safety Specialist) from the National Safety Council, and is certified in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. And as if she wasn’t busy enough, she recently started back to graduate school and is pursuing her Masters of Science Degree in Management and Leadership.     Ashley is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Specialist® (CSP) and industrial hygienist with more than 11 years of experience. In her role as an industrial hygienist at Safex, she performs qualitative and quantitative industrial hygiene assessments, including developing industrial hygiene sampling schemes, calibrating industrial hygiene equipment, conducting air and personal industrial hygiene monitoring, submitting samples to laboratories and interpreting analytical data. She’s experienced in conducting industrial hygiene sampling for a variety of analytes. At Safex, Ashley supports numerous clients. Some highlights include: • developing and implementing sampling strategies; • interpreting results and helping with qualitative assessments at a large steel mill; • serving as part of an audit team for an ice cream manufacturer and a retail clothing operation; and • supporting a multi-facility refractory manufacturer with their exposure assessment program. Ashley is experienced with sound level mapping and personal noise dosimetry in various occupational environments, and indoor environmental air surveys to evaluate moisture intrusion and airborne and surface fungal concentrations. Additionally, Ashley provides regulatory interpretation of OSHA standards to clients, respirator fit testing, ergonomic assessments and lab hood evaluations. Ashley is part of the Safex instructional team, and has facilitated training on DOT/IATA hazmat shipping, ergonomics, hazard communication, fundamentals of industrial hygiene, LOTO, noise exposure, silica and other safety topics.     Ms. Johnson began her career in workers compensation industry in July 2005 where she accepted a position at CareWorks of Ohio Managed Care Organization. Her role as a medical claims manager offered her extensive opportunity to navigate the claims system while working with employers to ensure their injured employees returned to work. She also became a vocational rehabilitation mentor assisting not only injured workers and employers but also colleagues with any voc rehab training and guidance. Ms. Johnson was promoted to a State Fund Claims Examiner position in August 2015. As a Claims Examiner she is responsible for the management of lost time and medical only claims. Yolanda pursues claim investigations and prepares the claim file for adjudication with the Ohio Industrial Commission. She also educates client regarding effective cost control strategies and develops aggressive action plans with a goal of bringing claims to a timely resolution. Ms. Johnson’s client base ranges from small independent businesses, mid-level to large private corporations, retrospective and group retrospective risks and clients with state fund tail claims as well as Builder’s Exchange.
