Generation Dayton: Wright Dunbar Redevelopment

Tuesday, June 22, 2021 (4:30 PM - 5:30 PM) (EDT)

Description

Join us for our June Speaker Series event on Tuesday, June 22nd as we hear from Dillin and CityWide about development taking place in Wright Dunbar, including The West Social Food Hall.

Located adjacent to the National Aviation Heritage Museum and the original Wright Bros Cycle shop, this project is the first-phase in a planned series of Opportunity Zone investments by Dillin, LLC in the Wright-Dunbar Village Historic District within the City of Dayton.

The West Social Food Hall will feature five food stations, a coffee shop and bar to serve the surrounding neighborhood and destination diners on a fully permitted +/-0.32-acre parcel (the ‘Property’) located at 1100 W. Third Street in this re-surging area of investment along 3rd Street in the Wright-Dunbar neighborhood – home to aviation pioneers Wilbur & Orville Wright and the celebrated author and poet Paul Laurence Dunbar. This event will be held from 4:30 - 5:30 PM at the Dayton Area Chamber, 8 N. Main. St. in Downtown Dayton.
