Join the Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council for our 72^nd Annual Safety Council Safety Conference & Symposium taking place on Wednesday, October 16^th! 

This conference will feature 13 educational training sessions presented by regionally and nationally recognized speakers. The sessions will feature a variety of broadly reaching workplace safety topics that are applicable to a wide array of businesses. The event will include an exhibitor showcase featuring the latest safety productions & solutions from over 20 vendors. In addition, there will be plenty of opportunities to network with other occupational safety and health peers from across the Dayton region. This year will also feature an opening session with updates from OSHA representatives.

This year's keynote presentation will be Chad Dunlap, Owner of Upshift with Chad. Upshift is a coaching business started in 2018 speaking on mental health awareness with an emphasis on suicide awareness. During his presentation, Chad will deliver education, inspiration, and entertainment with a powerful message to those who are battling heavy mental health topics such as depression or suicide. His presentation will leave you ready to upshift your view, attitude, and life. 

During the conference luncheon, we will announce the winners of the 2024 Auman Award for Excellence in Safety. 

Lastly, this event counts as ONE credit for Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council members and ONE EXTERNAL CREDIT for non-members enrolled with other Safety Councils. It can also count as a 2 hour BWC Group Rating Safety Requirement credit.
