Not unlike most industries, healthcare has seen dramatic changes. The expectations of employees and customers alike have shifted, and so has the way in which services are delivered. The result is a rapidly evolving business model.

At this month's Breakfast Briefing, Walter (Wally) Sackett, president of Kettering Health, will give us an inside look at how our own healthcare leaders are paving the path forward by "Building a Future of Hope & Healing with Yesterday's Success and Lessons Learned."


About the Speaker: Wally Sackett has served in Kettering Health since 2007 and was appointed to president of Kettering Health in September 2021. Wally directs Kettering Health's medical centers and service lines, mission and culture, as well as clinical and nursing operations. For the past three years, he has served as the president of Kettering Medical Center System with oversight of Kettering Medical Center, Kettering Behavioral Medicine Center, Sycamore Medical Center, Troy Hospital, Kettering College and Kettering Medical Center Foundation. 

Sackett earned his bachelor’s degree in Business and Theology at Walla Walla College in Washington state before completing his Master Degree in Healthcare Administration at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Wally is active in his community having served on the boards of Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association, Good Neighbor House, Miamisburg Community Foundation, American Heart Association, South Dayton Metro Chamber of Commerce and Kettering SDA Church.
