Join us for breakfast and an overview of how the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Office of the Private Sector works with private industry in the Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus areas and ways members of Dayton businesses can get involved in InfraGard, a partnership between the FBI and members of the private sector.
About the Office of the Private Sector
“The Office of Private Sector (OPS) seeks to have knowledge of the FBI’s interactions with the private sector, across the enterprise, and provides a 360 degree understanding of that relationship. Among other activities, it works to enhance the FBI’s understanding of the private sector’s risks and needs, and increases collaboration and information sharing between the Bureau and private sector – thereby helping to mitigate risk and remain ‘ahead of the threat.’”
“InfraGard is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and members of the private sector for the protection of U.S. Critical Infrastructure. Through seamless collaboration, InfraGard connects owners and operators within critical infrastructure to the FBI, to provide education, information sharing, networking, and workshops on emerging technologies and threats. InfraGard’s membership includes: business executives, entrepreneurs, lawyers, security personnel, military and government officials, IT professionals, academia and state and local law enforcement — all dedicated to contributing industry-specific insight and advancing national security. Today there are members in 77+ local InfraGard Member Alliances (IMAs), represented nationally by the InfraGard National Members Alliance (INMA). Each IMA is connected to an FBI Field Office.”
