Safety Breakfast With The Experts: March 2024

Join us for our March Safety Breakfast with the Experts featuring Jason Hinson, Workers' Comp Program Manager and Occupational Therapist, Athletico Physical Therapy. This presentation will include education on:

  • Aspects of ergonomic analyses to determine extrinsic and intrinsic factors placing stress on human body producing dyskinesia and leading to musculoskeletal/soft tissue disorders. 
  • Basic strategies to encourage proper body mechanics with laboring work tasks. 
  • Basic strategies for work-station set-up for office and virtual workers. 
  • Stretches to promote "balance" within the planes of the body to reduce internal stress factors and promote proper posture to decrease MSK risks. 

About the Speaker:
Jason, MS, OTS/L, CEAS earned his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Missouri Rolla and his Master's Degree from Washington University St. Louis. Since 2002, Jason has been working with injured workers as an Occupational Therapist providing evaluation and treatments as well as on-site job analysis. In his current role with Athletico, Jason helps employers develop early intervention programs including OSHA approved first aid programs to improve workplace health, wellness, and safety while decreasing injury risks.
