Join the Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council for our 73rd Annual Safety Conference & Symposium presented by Net X IT Solutions taking place on Wednesday, October 15th at Sinclair Conference Center. 

This full day conference will feature over 13 educational training sessions addressing hot topics such as accident investigations, mental health, workplace violence, and physical security presented by regionally and nationally recognized speakers. Attendees are encourage to explore the exhibitor exposition throughout the day, featuring the latest safety solutions and products from over 20 vendors. During lunch, we will announce the award winners for the 2025 Auman Award for Excellence in Safety followed by the keynote presentation.  

This years keynote presentation will be delivered by Harmony Myers, Director, NASA Safety Center. Myers' presentation, "Learning from History for a Successful Future - How NASA Applies Hard Lessons for Continuous Improvement" will address NASA's most significant human spaceflight accidents and the way they have shaped the way the Agency thinks about safety, leadership, and organizational culture. Myers will walk through the warning signs that preceded each accident, what the investigations uncovered, and the recurring themes that emerged across all three event. NASA's journey will inspire companies to make lasting changes to build a stronger safety culture that strive for organizational excellence. 

This event is eligible for one regular meeting credit for Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council members and one external training credit for members of other councils. Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council members must sign-in at registration prior to the morning session for credit. Members of other councils must request and submit a certificate to their safety council sponsor after the event for external training credit.
