About the Speaker:
Matthew Owen is a senior operations executive with extensive leadership experience across the industrial manufacturing and aerospace sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations at United Alloy, Inc, he leads large-scale manufacturing operations with full P&L responsibility, driving performance through disciplined execution, lean transformation, and continuous improvement.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, Matthew holds an MBA from Auburn University and a Bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Over the course of his career, he has held key leadership roles at organizations including RTX (Raytheon Technologies) and Collins Aerospace, where he built a reputation for operational excellence, strategic growth, and developing high-performing teams. He has been appointed to executive leadership roles multiple times, reflecting a consistent track record of delivering results in complex, high-demand environments.

A strong advocate for lean principles and data-driven decision-making, Matthew specializes in scaling operations, optimizing processes, and aligning organizations to achieve sustainable growth. His work spans continuous improvement deployment, cost transformation, and operational strategy across diverse manufacturing platforms. Based in the Dayton region, Matthew is actively engaged in advancing regional industry, supporting business innovation, and contributing to the broader manufacturing community.
