Join us for a keynote featuring Bob Nelson, Executive Vice President of Honda, to explore the company's legacy as the state's largest automaker and how its team of 15,000 Ohio associates are powering the future of mobility.

Drawing on nearly five decades of manufacturing, innovation and investment in the state, he will reflect on the milestones that have shaped Honda’s position today while highlighting the partnerships, technologies, and workforce that continue to drive progress.

Nelson will also look ahead to the future, examining the challenges and opportunities transforming our industry, and Ohio’s role in driving innovation and opportunity for the next generation.

About the Speaker: 
Bob Nelson is Executive Vice President of American Honda Motor Co., Inc.

Nelson is responsible for overseeing all American Honda business operations, including U.S. sales and marketing activities and support functions for the entire North American region. Previously, he led operations for all Honda U.S. auto manufacturing plants.

Nelson first began his career at Honda in 1987 at the Honda Marysville Auto Plant, working in procurement to help establish the company’s robust domestic supply chain.

Nelson is a native of Ohio and a graduate of Bowling Green State University.
