2026 Auman Safety Impact Award

The Auman Safety Impact Award was established in 2026 to recognize organizations that have implemented a new initiative, process, program, technology, or approach that has made an impact and significantly improved workplace safety at their company. Whether through creative problem-solving, process improvements, employee engagement, training, equipment enhancements, or technological solutions, this award recognizes efforts that go beyond traditional approaches to achieve meaningful safety outcomes.

This award is named after our long-time chamber supporter and safety advocate, Gary Auman.

In order to apply for this award, your company must be a current and active member of the Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council. There is no cost associated with the application.

Applicants should highlight the challenge addressed, the solution implemented, and the results achieved. Your answer will be redacted to remove identifiable information and then be selected anonymously by safety compliance professionals.

Winners will be announced at our 74th Annual Safety Conference and Symposium on October 28, 2026. The winner will also be showcased on the chamber website, chamber social media platforms and other chamber publications.

This program is a great opportunity to be recognized by safety professionals from across the Dayton region at our annual conference.

The deadline to apply is August 7th.
