East End Community Services

5/4/2018 1:00 PM-5:00 PM

Location
624 Xenia Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45410
Summary
As of May 4th, East End is rescuing food from grocery stores and prepping them for dinners. That could take a couple hours for thevolunteers. It would include sorting food, cutting, cooking, and packaging it for freezer bags. As this part of the program is new, East End would love to invite neighbors to be a part of it. If volunteers are willing to take invitations door to door in the neighborhood, that would save them a lot of time. East End also hosts distributions at Ruskin PreK-6 School. Volunteers would set up and distribute food to families, potentially while conducting surveys.
