This resource fair and networking event, exclusively for nonprofits, will feature information on available resources and opportunities for nonprofit leaders to connect and learn from each other.

  • Nonprofit leaders will learn how to access the Foundation Directory Online (FDO) through the Dayton Metro Library. The FDO is a database of foundations with all the pertinent details nonprofits need to find and approach prospective grant makers. 
  • Pro Bono Partnership of Ohio will explain the business and transactional legal services they provide to nonprofit social services in the Dayton and Cincinnati area.
  • Dayton SCORE counselors and strategy consultants for The Jael Group will discuss the purpose of a strategic plan for non-profits and outline the steps for creating one. 
  • The Dayton Area Chamber will discuss ways nonprofits can participate in the chamber.
  • Brady Ware will explain the basic fiduciary responsibilities of an organization’s Board of Directors and the importance of adopting sound, ethical and legal governance and financial management policies to safeguard the organization’s assets.
