The Honorable Judge Gerald Parker was elected on November 6th, 2018 as Montgomery County’s first African-American male to serve on the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court Bench (General Division).
This Division hears all adult felony criminal case and civil cases. Prior to being elected, he was appointed as juvenile magistrate by the late Judge Nick Kuntz and Judge Anthony Capizzi in July of 2016 presiding over primarily juvenile delinquency and traffic matters, along with child dependency, abuse, and neglect cases.
